Villa Fantastica in Bad Homburg

The name is program. Ambience, super friendly service, stylish atmosphere and of course very tasty cuisine, the lunch menu, it's a pleasure to be here.

Excellent Italian dishes. It's all worth the price. Everything is freshly prepared, but no long waiting times. So don't be surprised if you can't order an elaborate, freshly prepared dessert after 2:30 p.m. or when the kitchen closes.

Very nice and competent hosts. We had three different dishes (no pizza) and were all very satisfied. You could feel the great service and the friendly atmosphere in the restaurant at every table. Thanks for the second great evening!

We went to dinner and for me it was my first time at Villa Fantastica. From the beginning I felt very comfortable in the restaurant, which was mainly due to the ambience, the great smells and the first-class service. It felt like the service was always on the spot - a fact that is unfortunately less common in gastronomy. The menu of the restaurant is reduced to that of a classic Italian and prefers wines / drinks, which is not only modern, but also makes sense. Of course I couldn't try everything, but I like the selection. The food selection is also pleasing. We ordered mixed soup, pasta, pizza and caprese at the table. Here the spectrum ranged from the excellent pasta to the rather mediocre pizza, which was a shame. That is the only reason why I am deducting a star for this very nice restaurant experience. On the other hand, the tiramisu was great again at the end and underlined the excellent evening, which was especially convincing because of the atmosphere, the hospitality and the friendly service. I will definitely eat there again and have a great evening.

Food was delicious. Fresh ingredients. 4 stars because I personally felt totally uncomfortable there. Is more for the "upper class".

All in all good restaurant. Maybe a little too hyped. But the operators can't help that either. You can go there with a clear conscience.

We have been here with friends for a long time and had a very nice evening. With really very good food, good wines, especially the Arneis at the end, very good price / performance ratio and really great and friendly service. So we come more often now!

Unfortunately, I have to agree. We have always enjoyed going there because the food and service is very good. In the meantime you are only treated as a number donkey. It is interesting that you need guests, but when you have enough of them the service decreases. Lost 6 regular guests from our side!

We have been going here for years, but unfortunately the restaurant has now lost regulars. The food is still there, but the service is getting worse. You want to feel good and not be treated like a second class guest. A real shame....

We're new to town and have been there twice for lunch. Both times it was really very good. Both the food and the service. Only the tables on the terrace are a little too close together in times of Corona. We would like to see more consideration for the guests.

After an estimated 25 visits nothing to complain about, consistently good at a very high level. Good service: entertaining and relaxed, yet professional and never too intrusive. One of the best Italians in Frankfurt and the surrounding area!

Mega friendly and courteous staff and boss. Food tasted great. Even special requests were accepted and fulfilled with a smile. Many many thanks. A highly recommended place. Here the guest is still king. At the end there was even a delicious limoncello donated. Top!

Very tasty food and very nice staff. Very nice decor and the boss himself printed something out for us on the printer that we urgently needed, just great. I can only recommend it.

We enjoyed our evening at the restaurant. The location is good and it has a good ambience, outdoor seating area is nice. I’ve been here twice and both time I was happy with my fish dish. Other guests come here more often but they were a bit disappointed about their meal that evening and the service was too slow. Therefore i reduced one star.

Excellent food, cozy atmosphere, good sommelier. Service a bit overloaded. I would go there again at any time and would happily recommend it. Rather for special evening events.

Lovely authentic Italian food with great ambience and impeccable service. The menu is quite nice with a number of vegetarian options. Would recommend the Taglitalia with mushrooms and Truffles.

An average Italian restaurant that would like to be pompous. A more or less standard card, but expensive and very loud. After all, an incorrectly served dish was supplemented by the waiter with the right ingredients. The quality of the food is, however, perfectly fine. The waiting time, on the other hand, is absolutely unacceptable - whether on the card, never again on the card for dessert or on the bill.

My wife and I just stayed at the Fantastica. I have to say it bears his name rightly. Food super delicious! The employees are in a great mood and very nice! Top price! We are thrilled and very happy to come back :)

Always delicious place to eat I have been there 3 times now and tried different food each time ... the food and the wine never was less then amazing ! Their terrace is a great place in warmer weather and their inside is cozy. DEFO worth going but book a table they are busy !

Great food - from the starter, to the main and intermediate dishes, to the dessert, the espresso and the drinks. The whole thing is only topped by Zoran, the waiter with humor, empathy and fun at work. Cash and card payment possible!

Amazing, awesome, incredible, fantastic, unbelievable, mouth-watering, ... i could keep going on because it's all true. This place is simply awesome. The food, the atmosphere, the service, everything is really truly top. Incredibly delicious. Highly recommended!

Your visit, Gentle Reader, will depend on what you order. The ambiance is great. The choices on the menu are great. The very limited wines on offer are great. (try the Primitivo di Manduria. at €21.00, amazing wine, at a bargain price). So why just two stars? Well it's because of the salt. The mushroom soup was overwhelmed by salt. I was silly, I should have sent it back. Then came the fillet steak cooked in a Primitivo Wine Reduction. The steak was soooo tender. BUT someone with a heavy hand had added too much salt again and ruined the dish. My dinner guest had the most tender Nodino of Veal she had ever tasted. It was melt-in-the-mouth. But again, she had to scrape off the crust of salt spread all over the chop. Our other guest had exactly the same issue with her main course. It was therefore quite surprising when the owner asked us our opinion of the dinner and we simply suggested he cut down on the salt in these items. His amazing response was: We don't use salt in our kitchen. So I sit here, gentle reader, with the following advice: This is a good restaurant. The service can be painfully slow. But if you are served up a dish that is overwhelmed by salt - send it back!

Outstanding food and service, very busy but the food always comes quickly. Great wine and many vegetarian options. By far our favorite place to go. Nice outside area and cozy inside with many separated tables to feels more private. It’s better to reserve a table beforehand since it’s a popular place. Can only recommend.
